Fraxel Laser Technology is an advanced clinical procedure designed to stimulate the body’s own restorative process. It delivers potent ablative treatments that use high temperature to vaporize unwanted tissues with the safety of non-ablative lasers. This clinical treatment reaches deep into the second layer of the skin, the subcutaneous, to allow the production of collagen and the renewal of the skin. Fraxel laser treatments are best suited for clients suffering from acne scars, wrinkles, age spots, saging skin, environmental sun damage, and malasma.

Fraxel Laser Procedure

Fraxel Laser procedure starts with cleansing of the skin, followed by topical cream to numb the treatment area, appeasing the skin during the treatment. The laser is then used to target the treatment area, where the epidermis and subcutaneous layers of skin are treated. The skin is then protected with code 10 and a target skin regimen is recommended for client use. Once treatment is concluded, the outer layer of the skin, the epidermis, will remain undamaged, while the subcutaneous layer of the skin begin its healing process. Client may experience discomfort similar to a sunburn and some peeling, the old skin cells will gradually repair themselves and ignite new collagen production. The recovery time is approximately three days, but client can return to daily activities while protecting their skin with sunscreen.
